We've got some bad news, some good news and some great news today.

First the bad. After the successful deployment of C-Toxin against the micronoids we've though it might be a cure for our brainsucked soldiers so we injected BeerDeer with it. He's in a coma now, brain dead. While there is no longer any trace of micronoids in his brain now, it appears that they have done some major "rewiring" while they were in there. Without the micronoids maintaining his brain, BeerDeer's body has shut down. We're detecting no brain activity at all, and he does not respond to psionics. It appears that being brainsucked is a one-way process with no cure.

As for good news, we have a couple reasons to celebrate. We've finished manufacturing all the C-Toxin and X-COM armor we'll need to outfit our troops. Plus some of our soldiers are getting a special upgrade.

The dimension missile launcher is the alien equivalent of a rocket launcher. The explosion is very powerful, more than our heavy weapons can generate. All soldiers using rocket launchers or mini-launchers have been upgraded to the dimension missile launcher. It appears that the dimension missile may have been backwards engineered from a Sectoid blaster launcher because of differences in the usual organic nature of the aliens previous weaponry.

We've also discovered how to manufacture larger missiles for our ships.

While these three missile launchers have their benefits, they all have one huge drawback - the need for ammo. Disruptor beams require no recharging and can be just as devastating as a missile. We do not plan on using these weapons in the future.

MegaPol has also informed us of something rather interesting. All over the city, Osiron members have been found dead, their explosive mechanisms triggered. The entire gang has been all but eliminated though this. The timing of this is interesting, what with X-COM wrapping up this war, and the other gangs in the city rising in strength to match Osiron thanks to alien weapon proliferation. It appears that whoever was masterminding the Osiron gang no longer has any use for them. This also means that all leads from Osiron to these masterminds have now dried up. We may never know the true criminals behind this.

Finally, the great news - our teams were sent to the next alien building.

----

Mindfish: This one isn't going to be much fun. It's hot, humid and dark in here. There will be a load of multiworms, so take care when you kill them. The alien egg incubators should be pretty easy to destroy. Move out!

Booyah: Holy crap, I can't see anything. Everyone, turn on your vision enhancement visors. It will help a little....it's already helping, I see some anthropods way over here. Let's try this missile launcher!

Booyah: Nice, I got two of them down!

Teppec: Let me try!

Teppec: I love this gun.

Teppec: Oh, a skeletoid now? Let's see what happens when I fire on you!

Teppec: Hey, what do you know, they die! And I blew up an incubator along with it!

Teppec: Let's try that previous test one more time...

Teppec: This is not so much as weapon as it is God in my hands! FEEL MY WRATH!

Teppec: I RULE SUPREME OVER ALL I SEE WITH MY, wait what? Out of ammo!? Oh fuck me!

Booyah: That's OK, I still have some!

Booyah: Greatest. Weapon. Ever.

Jade: Hey guys, can I try?

Jade: AWESOME.

Lacroix: Enough with the explosions already, let's move in and clean up!

Velius: Just one more blast, Lacroix! Grenade!

Lacroix: You done now? Make with the toxigun fire!

'Dini': INCUBATOR CHAMBER DISCOVERED. INVESTIGATING.

'Dini': CURIOUS. WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE THIS UNDEFENDED?

Mindfish: I don't know Dini, just take them out quick. We're almost done blowing up the remaining incubators over here.

Mindfish: Our area's clear; you robots start blowing shit up!

Sair: UNDERSTOOD. THROWING GRENADE.

Untalented: DANGER! CORROSIVE GAS RELEASE. IMMINENT DANGER TO PROCESS-oRrrrrr---****------

HAL: QUICKLY! EXIT THE GAS FIELD.

HAL: SOUP-BOT! YOU REMAIN IN DANGER!

HAL: SAIR, DINI, REMAIN HERE UNTIL THE GAS SETTLES.

HAL: HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DESTROY THESE DEVICES WHEN THE EXPLOSIONS WOULD DESTROY SOUP-BOT?

'Dini': PLACE GRENADES IN THE CHAMBERS. SET FOR MAXIMUM DELAY. EVERYONE EVACUATE THE BUILDING. SAIR, GRAB UNTALENTED, I WILL CARRY SOUP-BOT.

----

Another mission, another great success. Soup-Bot and Untalented will be in for repairs for a little while, but time is of no concern to us now. The aliens are struggling to survive in their world and don't have the resources to launch any kind of attack on us.

I am a little worried about the fate of Striker. He's the last X-COM soldier still missing in the alien dimension. The men that went missing did so three buildings ago and it is now unlikely that Striker survived long enough on his own to end up deep into the alien complex. El Nato and Redeker did however tell us they found the tracks of an X-COM soldier deep in the maintenance factory that probably belonged to Striker, so there is still hope for him.
