Part 11: Suicide

Only a short update today, I'm afraid.

You're going to jump over the edge.

Mrph?

Direct response
Incredulous response
> Rabbinical response

And why would I do this?

How about...

Confrontational response
Negative response
> Rabbinical response

And if I refuse?

I shoot her, then you, and throw you BOTH off the balcony.

...

So are you going to jump? Or is this going to get messy?

All right. You win, Zelig. You hold all the cards.

Good boy. He can be taught.

Zelig moves closer.

Start walking.

Rabbi Stone opens the balcony door.

There's one more thing.

He moved the gun off of me and pointed it straight at Rajshree Lauder.

MPHPH!

Why do you want to do this, Rabbi Zelig?

Regardless of what response we choose at this point--

-- Joe DeMarco suddenly walks in.

He notices Rabbi Stone.

You! You son of a-

Apparently, DeMarco hasn't even considered rethinking his ways.

Zelig interrupts him.

It's not enough you bungle your assignment.

You show up HERE? Did anyone follow you?

I want my money!

Johnny Amadeus posted:

You might have another listener to your sermons, maybe?

Doesn't look that way.

You want what you deserve? Fine.

What? Are you going to say he didn't deserve it?

I took a quick glance at Rajshree. I couldn't help but think that a close call had been made.

He certainly served his purpose.

Now move. All this bloodshed sickens me.

Thankfully, Rajshree is safe for now.

The two Rabbis enter the balcony.

All right, let's cooperate.

What are you waiting for?

Jump
Climb back onto the balcony
Stall him
Grab his gun
> Admire the view

Just... admiring the view.

> Jump
Climb back onto the balcony
Stall him
Grab his gun

They say a man's life passes before his eyes at times like these.

But all I could see were the high-rises of Manhattan, crowding themselves around me like a concrete womb.

The harsh, unyielding pavement comes ever closer, and I can't help but wonder...

Why did I jump?

I guess I'll never know.

Game over

Next time, we'll handle the situation properly.
