Introduction
Please avoid discussion of spoilers and major plot twists, tagged or untagged, in this thread until after they are shown in the LP. Try to keep details about the original game to a minimum as well, since this is a remake and shares a lot of plot points. Also, avoid the Wikipedia entry on any of the Siren games if you want to be surprised as they contain massive spoilers with no warning.
Siren: Blood Curse is a PS3 game released by Sony in July 2008, and is a remake of the 2003 PS2 game Siren. Blood Curse was initially available only for download from the online Playstation Store, with a staggered Blu-ray release beginning later in Japan, Europe and Australia. In North America, download or import remain the only way to play the game.
The story follows an American television crew for the paranormal investigative program "Encounters" as they visit a tiny village in the heart of Japan on assignment. Needless to say, they find themselves trapped in the nightmare they came to investigate.
Blood Curse is the third entry in the SIREN series. My LPs of the first two games are available on the LPArchives:

Siren 2 LP
The videos in this thread will necessarily contain spoilers for the earlier games (particularly the first one), so if you want to experience them with a clean slate either start with the above LPs or go play the games yourself.
OUTLINE
There are two types of video:
Regular
Frequency: Every update
These will have subtitled commentary and be a regular-paced atmospheric playthrough, showing off as much as possible, but leaving plot analysis up to the viewer. All episodes will have this type of coverage.
Rambo
Frequency: Occasional
Some stages can be completed in more... direct ways than the developers really intended. When possible, videos of alternate methods will be added to updates.
The game has 12 episodes, each with from one to three playable chapters and multiple archive items to collect. Updates will be twice a week. Each update will cover all or part of an episode. In addition, archive items and any interesting background or side information will be added as a supplement.
This is a playthrough on Normal mode as, sadly, the developers decided to include only two difficulty settings: Easy and Normal.
Blood Curse also does away with the stage select system found in Siren and Siren 2, making it now totally linear. It also does not include secondary objectives like the previous games, so we won't be revisiting stages except for Rambo videos.
