The sequel no one expected to the game no one liked where characters no one cares about do things no one understands. The dog days are over.
Dark 'n' gritty cyberpunk universe, impenetrably obtuse mechanics, arbitrarily punishing difficulty, and a character building system where half the skills are literally useless? This may be the most early-90s CRPG of all early-90s CRPGs.
Well, I'm sure I don't need to remind you what today is! What, you…you don't remember? Today is our Second Anniversary of Shininess! Oh, don't worry that you've not got me anything, because I got you something big: a shedload of shiny new features (we especially like the Reading List and the new Table of Contents), a brand new fancy logo, and some long-needed polishing!
I should also note the removal of donations. The archive started advertising well over a year ago, and since then Project Wonderful have proven a great partner. Although I can never adequately express my appreciation, donations are no longer needed to keep the archive afloat. Rest assured, though, that every cent, penny and "Mini-Euro" donated up to now has gone towards archive upkeep.
As always, please feel free to let us know what you think!
