Part 53: Chapter 53

Alright. So far:

• We went west from Y2. There is a "wall of broken rock" to the east, but it isn't clear whether that's an exit, a puzzle, a red herring, or a bit of atmospheric detail.
  
• The Hall of the Mountain King has "exits in every direction" (although keep in mind some of those might not work), but we've only gone north. We entered that room by going north from the Hall of Mists.
  
• We've been west and north from the Hall of Mists, but there is also a south exit. The game lets you go down, but to prevent a boring interlude I'll let you know that the north and down exits from this room are the same.
  
• There is a fissure west from the Hall of Mists that we were not able to figure out how to get over.
  

That's the most obvious stuff, although there may be other things to check out too. Where would you like to go?
