Part 13: Episode X (Part 2): Lives Are Ruined

Welp, the votes are in and it seems we'll be tracking down an AWOL rock star that may or may not be face down in a ditch with a needle sticking out of his arm.

And with that Miki dashes off to the Shadow Forest. Huh... I guess there can't really be a mini-update recruitment if it involves ditching the unexplored town to go to the next dungeon. Oh well, let's see what became of the two loser choices.


The magician Guile initially took his rejection in stride. However, he found difficulty gaining support to complete his wager. Soon a week past and Guile had not as much as set foot on Viper Manor's front lawn...


This failure, coupled with middling success in his magical practitioner endeavors saw the stripping of Guile's status as approved magician soon afterwords. A downward spiral of depression from being forced to lower his work to little more than off the books, low paying back alley birthday party jobs to fuel his growing alcoholism soon followed...


Ending in tragedy in late September of that same year... Guile the Magician was 26...or 13046 depending on who you ask...


The swordsman Pierre did not let his rejection from Serge's party dampen his spirits and the supposed hero charged the gates of Viper Manor early the next morning.


He was never heard from again...
