Joining UZ, Scruffy, and I is Cousin Joe. He's a mute, but we love him anyway. I've been going through a bit of a head cold and sound even more nasally than usual, so I'm a bit muted.

The new robot in this mine is not really new:



It's exactly like the orange smelters found in Descent II, but uglier.



The fiddler is also the diamond claw in a new suit. It also releases plasma blobs that home in on you when you shoot it with energy weapons.

The returning Descent 1 robot is one that I wish stayed there:



For some reason, their scream is really high pitched in Vertigo. Still a dangerous robot because of how aggressive it is but its been toned down and is less threatening than it was before. We will find plenty of cloaked ones later.
