Hell is Other Students. Let's Play Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice

Hello everyone, my name is Feinne and this is Let's Play Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. Disgaea 3 is the most recent strategy rpg presented by Nippon Ichi Software, and is the first game of theirs to be released for the Playstation 3. Unlike Disgaea 2 it bears no direct story connection to previous games. The gameplay is what connects it to the original. There're a lot of changes from Disgaea 2 to 3, and I'll detail a few now:

Classes: Disgaea 3 has the widest range of classes in the series, with a truly staggering array of options available to us. Popular classes such as the Ronin return to the field, and monsters have been substantially improved in utility with the changes to monster magic weapons and the addition of Magichange, which allows monsters to lend their power to human characters as weapons.

Skills: Spells and skills have been substantially altered in Disgaea 3. No longer must you grind weapon skill, instead all skills available to a character can be purchased for Mana earned in battle. This makes classes and especially reincarnation much more important, because low tier versions of classes cannot access the full range of skills in their favored weapons.

Artwork: Many returning classes are substantially redesigned, and Harada's art has never been better. There is a small flaw in that the backgrounds are HD but the sprites are not, which won't be so apparent in the LP because I'm not capturing from an HDMI.

There's a lot of other new and exciting additions to the game, but I've gone on long enough. Let's get this game started.
