The Spirit of Hatred does use a few of the usual round of stat-reducing attacks, but is nowhere near as difficult as Lubram is.


After several rounds, the horrible beast goes down.

Party by part it falls to bits...


...leaving only this behind.



It's a real pain in the ass is what it is. It's basically a harder, tougher version of Lubram. If you're not careful and don't take care of your dropped stats, you could be eating 9999 damage from his attacks. I set Lila on autopilot so that she would automatically (hopefully) use stat and HP recovery moves, while I concentrated on beating the hell out of it.
I made a movie of these two battles, but I decided against uploading it in the end because the sound effects are incredibly glitchy here for some reason.

After a long and grueling battle, we finally triumph over the Heart of Hatred.
