So, this chapter presented me with some issues. Not so much in terms of challenge, but...

Bazba's a bit tougher, but still manageable. If I'd used a different strategy than deploying Seth as requested, having him switch to the hand axe would have been quite the helpful tactic.

You guys said that I should focus less on Ross. Doesn't mean I can't have him break stuff.

Garcia got really lucky this chapter. Almost every fight resulted in a hit. Unfortunately, the same held true for the other side, but that's what all that bulk is for.










So here's the deal with Colm in a nutshell. Due to the boosted stats from Hard Mode, the enemies are fast enough that he can't reliably double most of them. This bears repeating: the character whose only saving grace is his speed can't double enemies. That's something, all right.

Breaking through to the main room. Not much to say, except-

Well, we might need to rethink our strategy if this keeps up. Just giving the fans what they want.

The chests have nothing new in hard mode. Colm's ones have the hand axe, iron sword, and iron lance as usual. Nothing really special.

This might have been a bad strategic move here...

But what's life without a little risk?

Oh yeah, the thief? 10 speed, just like Colm. If there's one thing that enemies will do often in Hard Mode, it's outspeed us. That'll be problematic if we want to continue using Gilliam.

Eirika gets back at the little sucker, but we're still out a vulnerary.

I'm doing all sorts of unconventional stuff with Vanessa today.

But she's got to stay competitive somehow.

As mentioned, I'll be feeding bosses to Seth. There's a situation coming up where getting some stat points under his belt will be really helpful.




Franz gets a mighty level by taking down the mercenary. That's the way to keep on the roster.

Did I mention that I plan to focus on Natasha more this run?
