Well, that might have been helpful a couple of missions ago. Anyway, Jose can also send an email to Ran Fong, who, if you'll recall, he left with the rebels.




: What a crappy LST! It's all rusted!
: How is it even floating?
: You can look elsewhere if you want.
: Yang, is this really going to take us to Japan?

: Don't worry about it!
: Okay, Old Yang. Would you let us use this ship?
: You won't be able to move on this ship!
: You said you'd help us!
: Yup. And I'll do the driving.
: What!?
Well, at this point, getting an NPC killed isn't exactly anything to get worked up over.
: I think he's senile.
: We're not going out to play!
: It's my LST! I'm driving. Go elsewhere, if you don't like it.
: ...Okay.
: You stubborn old man! I won't be responsible for what happens!
: I'm a soldier! I can protect myself.
: It's like having two Kazukis in the same room.
: Yeah. They're both stubborn alright.
: There's some wanzer equipment in the hangar. I'll sell it to you cheap.
He sells the Wulong parts, and that means it's time for a swap out.



Time to head back to Japan.



: We're Japanese, we'll be okay. Besides, his dad's in the JDF.
That explanation kind of ignores the fact that the party was chased out of Japan by the army last time they were there, and also the fact that the party is, at this point, only 25% Japanese.
: But he's dangerous.
: Oh, I've heard enough!
: Hmm, they're welcoming us.



Nothing says welcoming like an armada of warships!
: The information was right. Our orders are to prevent them from entering Japan! Sink them here!



: What's going on!?
: They're trying to kill us.
Eh, them and every other country on the planet.
: I knew my old man was working with Lukav. Yang, can we fight on the LST!?
: Yes! Hurry up and do something about them!
: My stupid old man! Does he think we're just going to take it? That's a big mistake! Let's go!
Kazuki's not going take it, man! He's going to kill an entire fucking navy if that's what it takes to piss off his father! He takes daddy issues to new and exciting levels.



Kazuki is in the White Sox, Emma in the Black Widow, Linny in the Sexy Babe Mk 3 and Jose in the Tea Time. Today's mission. Survive for nine turns. And it's even easier than it sounds. Our first group of enemies? Three patrol boats.



Turns out Linny was meant to be a missile launching wanzer all along...



This is really all Kazuki does in this mission since the enemy won't come within shotgun range and Kazuki's wanzer can't go into the water.



Jose guns down another patrol boat.



It looks like Linny finally found his calling: naval warfare....it's a shame this is the only mission in this branch with those type of enemies. Anyway, that's all of the enemies, which would usually end the mission, but...



Two helicopters show up instead.



Helicopters are still not much of a threat if you have a shield to absorb all of their missiles, and all of my wanzers do, so...



And Emma kills the other helicopter. Of course, Emma's out of missiles at this point, but the mission's almost over anyway. The third wave of enemies is two patrol boats.



The enemy almost blows off Kazuki's shield arm, although the shield's out of uses at this point anyway, so it's a moot point.



Jose kills an enemy who came a little too close to the LST, and time finally runs out.



Works for me. Linny wins MVP under the theory that someone has to.



I'm not sure why they never tried to sink the boat our wanzer were standing on. Seems like would have made things a lot easier on them.

Next Time: Remember all those boring arguments between Kazuki and his father last branch? Yeah? Well, it's happening again.
