Part 132: Mission #64: A Message From the Action Man
Mission #64: A Message From the Action Man
In the future, all zoning will be based on hexagons after FASA wreaks its bloody revenge.

Who dares opposes my deadly, deadly team of wanzers?

It's Jared in a giant green wanzer...yet I'm still not impressed.

Ah, finally, Lukav has brought out his big wanzer, which, in order to comply with jRPG villainy laws, comes complete with superfluous wings.

Kazuki still hasn't mastered taunting.

Emma, Yun, Jose and Marcus are up. It occurs to me that I didn't actually have to build two different wanzers for Kazuki and Yun, I could have had them switch off using the same wanzer. Against us are a few Yongsai who are a bit outclassed by this point. There are also two giant missile wanzers, which have a lot of HP but, because of their size, are ridiculously easy to hit.

It's not that Emma's bad or anything, but she's just not going to cut it against enemies with that much HP.

Marcus is doing a bit better, but it's still a grind. On the plus side, these enemies aren't capable of doing much damage, so it's not like we're in real danger.

Lukav ditches only a couple of turns into the mission. It's definitely possible to kill him with a beam rifle/Body Smash combo, but it's not like it makes much of a difference.

It's the endgame, and that means if a guy gets knocked of his wanzer and the enemy has a chance to attack him before he gets back in, he's toast. And this guy was piloting one of the giant wanzers, saving me a whole ton of work.

Jose breaks Jared's wanzer. Let the goodtimes roll...

Jose is on fire!

In the face of a resurgent Senor Goodtimes, the enemy loses all morale.

And that's the end of that.

Glory. Jose gets MVP.
