This isn't the first time marriage is brought up in the Hamtaro universe. Though not frequent, it isn't unusual for hamsters to marry their true loves. In fact, Oxnard and Pepper were married in the show! (In case you forgot earlier where I mentioned Pepper being Oxnard's wife.)
