 I don't speak, read or in any way comprehend a lick of French. Max Renaudin, who also plays American Shaun (French Shaun is Quentin de Gruttola, son of David Cage), obviously doesn't speak, read or in any way comprehend a lick of English; dazzling us with a performance that must be delivered from a script written phonetically in some rough approximation of the language.

It's reminiscent of the original engrish voice-overs in Killer7, a game that also employs fairly simple mechanics to tell a story about the paradox of post-WWII Japanese nationalism and US-Japan relations people dying.
