Introduction: Thread one
This is macklikethetruck and I am playing The Legend of Zelda Challenge: Outlands, a ROM hack of the original Legend of Zelda (NES). It has a new story that takes place after Zelda 1&2, two new quests, all new dungeons, overworld, and new items. This ROM hack ROCKS.Check it out here.
The hack designer is working on a new Link to the Past hack called Zelda 3 Challenge: Quest for Calatia. Information can be found here, Diabetus (and Oyster).
I am playing this game entirely blind. Previous to recording the first video I read the manual that comes with the game and located the first dungeon, but that's all the playing ahead that I will be doing. I have a busy season and I'll be playing this game when I have time, so updates will not be as frequent as they were in my last thread, Ganon's Revenge(now in the forum archives), and many of the videos, though they are all significantly edited down, are rather long (+-half hour), but they are worth the time if you like Zelda, Adventure, Sex, and Life in the Outlands!

Between August and December of last year I participated in an amazing adventure in a place called the Outlands. The Thunderbird had stolen the Triforce and Tetrarch Faries from Hyrule. Princess Zelda travelled to the Outlands to try and rescue the Tetrarch Faries by using her magic powers. I followed and used my heroic hero courage powers to rescue the Triforce and Tetrarch Faries.
After the adventure, I am not sure what happened....but it all started again.
Now we will start the SECOND QUEST! For this leg of the LP, Link will be narrating his adventures.

The first quest of Zelda Challenge is one of the best ROM hacks I have ever come across. True to the feeling of exploration and adventure of Zelda, the first quest is fantastically designed for challenge and fun. I played through the first quest with other LPers who enjoy Zelda such as Oyster, Diabetus, Illin, and Cherrydoom. See the original thread here.
