I didn't know this! I assumed that borrachos meant, you know, some sort of mercenary or bandit or something. I guess it explains all the dancing, though...

Can you all see why I love these guys now? Sure, they're huge goofy racial caricatures, but they're also FUN AND QUIRKY in ways that really nobody else in this game is. Like you can actually point to the various playable ones as actual characters: you've got the over-the-top macho leader guy, the long-suffering tech guy, the jovial fat guy, and the idiotic goofy guy. Okay, so they're ALL idiotic goofy guys, but you see my point. They've got more personality than anyone else we've seen or are going to see, and they seem to really fit the freewheeling spirit of the gameplay.
You can tell they felt that they needed some sort of comic relief/remotely interesting characters, but the borrachos are kinda cool even outside of that! There's gonna be a lot of stuff to hatchat about them later on, let me tell you--their costumes are actually pretty well designed, you know! Outside of the fact that they're half-naked in the desert, that is.

A sombrero would be too far, even for LP2! You can't get a sombrero in space, you know. They don't make them with space helmet attachments.
