This is sort of like a musical puzzle, basically the left-most tile plays the lowest pitch note, and raises that stake the lowest, and then it gets higher as you go to the right. So you have to hit the switches in the order to match whatever pressing the button shows.


So for this one I hit 3-2-1-4, get it?


Fly traps and sea hydras (hidora ) these guys aren't too tough, although the hydras can attack a bunch of times in one turn.

Those two buttons cause all the stakes to go back down, and the isolated tile causes is the tallest stake/highest note, so you can't possibly have it in the fourth position because then, after swinging across with the hook to trigger it, I wouldn't be able to leave without hitting a button and resetting the puzzle. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! So the only true solution is the other one

THUNDER HORSE I fucking have that song on my iPod, so you guys know you can download songs from Metalocalypse and ATHF from the adult swim website. I did and put them on my iPod it rocks to be able to rock out to Birthday Dethday anywhere!


I found out that these and lots of flying enemies are weak to THUNDER, so the spell thunder is amazing against them, and Guy's weapon crits for 1600+ damage.


It turns out that to open the doors in this room, if you put both pots on the switches it opens the north door (that I came through), but if you put a pot and a crate, it opens the door on the side you put the crate

Here's a funky puzzle, I put this pot and this crate on these buttons to make some bridges. . .


Hmm, push this block onto this button to make another bridge. . .


Move this pot here, making more bridges. . .


After pushing that block onto the other button, I realized I fucked up the puzzle.


Putting this pot onto this switch let's me cross south, but eliminates the other bridge, which means I should have brought the crate so I could blow it up after I crossed. DAMN DAMN DAMN!

This battle lasted one turn. I wish the enemies gave less EXP. Then again, the ancient cave would be IMPOSSIBLE if the enemies didn't give this much exp.
