Introduction
I actually don't have anything to say about this game which I won't cover in the first video, that's great because nobody reads these opening paragraphs anyway!
Actually, there is not much to say in any case. It's Mega Man. For the original Game Boy. Still 8-bit, less colours, and not a bad game! Pretty rough around the edges still, but a commendable effort. I plan, as always, on doing it as much justice as I can and as it deserves.

First, let me thank Admiral H. Curtiss for sorting out the audio issues I had.
Bean has been very helpful to me from the very start of my LPing career, so I definitely want to give him a big shout-out here. He is the LPer who I would call the biggest inspiration for my playstyle, and most of his earlier runs being subtitled doesn't really change how his intelligent usage of special weapons and clean showing off of stages helped me realize what I wanted to do myself.
This is a playlist for his LP of the entire Game Boy Mega Man series - it's very good stuff, and I very much recommend checking it out if you get tired of my nattering. Obviously only watch what you want out of it.
While we're at other people doing LPs, I need to give a shout-out to VPrisoner who also covered the series here on the archive.
Freezing Inferno was so kind to record a DLC stage for Mega Man 10 which recreates this game's final level quite faithfully using the new resources: Mega Man 10: Special Stage 1
If you want even less commentary and even more competence, this is the game's Speedrun on SDA.
