Part 23: Let's Really Break Mystic Quest! with 13/f/cali - Part 1

I thought I'd come answer two questions that might be popping into your head around this point:

1. What happens if you have enough gold to buy the Elixir from Tristam?
Absolutely nothing special! Benjamin says the same thing, because he is a cheapass.

2. What happens if (somehow) you don't have enough gold to buy the bombs from Tristam?

I don't even know if it's possible to reach that point with fewer than 30 gold, but thanks to the magic of cheating, here's what happens:

Select "Okay" for the 30gp price and... Tristam sells it to you anyway! This deducts 30 gold from your total, giving you a negative gold total, which this game doesn't... deal with well, as seen below.
