Part 24: Let's Really Break Mystic Quest! with 13/f/cali - Part 2

I think your update pace is fine. I wish you updated a little more frequently but it's okay either way, I'm just used to ddgenha's pacing in his threads but he is ridiculous and updates insanely often.

edit: As far as the actual content goes, I like that for the most part you are focusing on what makes the game unique. The game itself is not interesting but it has several interesting features and elements, and to focus on those (such as the changing battle sprites) is a good choice.

For content, here's another edition of What Happens If... (you cheat)

1. Tristam found that awesome looking thing in that treasure box. I want it! What happens if I take the treasure before he can?



Apparently Benjamin just -knows- that the treasure chest is empty. This indicates:

A. Benjamin is psychic.
B. Tristam has had the treasure all along and is just wasting our time to be a jackass.

2. Perhaps the boss here just attacks because you jump in his face all ready-like. What if you took a more normal approach?



Turns out there's more than one empty chest in this room! I have no idea why the game thinks that one of the Vile Ones is a treasure chest. Come on developers, you could have at least put some candy inside or something, flagging the secret boss Pinata Rex!

There we have all the noteworthy oddities for the beginning of the game.

Next time: Screw saving the Earth Crystal, let's just take the Sand Coin and book it!
