Part 24: The Eye of Thalor Recap
Previously on Myth IIIWe destroyed the Eye of Thalor and killed Thalor, dooming the Myrkridia to capture inside the Tain.
This is a short but pretty fun mission. The multiple paths give you a lot of options to suit whatever your style is. It's really nice of a mission to give you more satchels like the left path does, you don't see that often. It's also quite fun to build up a pile of Thalor corpses. The Eye explodes once destroyed, and could kill anyone who melee-destroyed it, but if Thalor is dead, destroying the Eye ends the mission, preventing any more deaths from counting.

The game film:
Two warriors died, Goldjas and Rhumbus, and the one archer loss was RezKain.
You'll notice a rather major change in the kill image below. With the end of this mission, the Myrkridia are gone. Connacht's forces have either killed the last of the Myrkridia, or doomed them to death inside the Tain. We will never see them again. While the Total Codex makes mention of a man named "The Summoner" who will resurrect the Myrkridia, that would happen far in the future, far out of the timeline we're interested about in Myth 3. (If the table breakage is annoying, please tell me and I'll thumbnail this from now on.)

We already saw one interesting bug in the mission with the Myrkridian Giant who died but didn't die, but there are plenty of other bugs and failure in this video. In fact, I'm pretty sure that one segment in this video contains the most shameful and embarrassing display of Myth gameplay I will ever commit to video.
END OF ACT TWO: THE TAIN
Next time on Myth III
Moagim is not pleased that his pets, the Myrkridia, have become extinct. No longer can he wait to gather his army of dead, the time to attack has come. Thrall begin their march, and massive numbers of Oghre and Trow are ready for war. The Siege of Llancarfan is about to begin.
