Part 210: 1/17/10
1/17/10Mitsuru and Akihiko are still out taking their exams.
It sounds tough, but what choice do we have ?
Hah, thats the kind of thing we have to look forward to when we win.
Dude, thatll be us before you know it.
Im not lookin forward to it, though.
Real life, whatever that means.
Narrator: Episode 47: The Great Emperors Glory! The fight is almost at its end!
Newscaster: And now, the news.
Belief in Nyx seems to be increasing throughout the city
Oh yeah, so that machine up in the command room.
The problem was the camera.
Its not that important, I only wanted to tell you that I had identified the problem.
The others figured out what was up.

Im just glad they dont know that I knew, because awkward.
> Its the third floor lounge. Koromaru is looking this way.
Woof!
You know, Future Consultation is coming up.
Yeah. What are we supposed to say during all that?
> Fuuka and Yukari pass by
Arf!
Oh, Koro-chan.
Awww, if you sleep wherever you want, youll catch a cold
?
> Aigis is also here.
> ?
> She is looking at the camera.
What is it, Aigis?
So yeah I need to break the thing or something so they cant tell there were recordings.
Wha !?
Does that mean its been recording whoever walks past here?
> Fuuka and Yukari are also staring at the camera now.
Oh yeah I forgot that you can check out anywhere in the dorm from the command room
Does that mean one has been placed in each of our rooms as well?
I-I never thought about it
But probably so I used the system last year
Huh? I-Is that true !?
W-Well, you need a key to use it, and I doubt any of the guys would dare look inside our rooms
If they did Im gonna kick the living crap out of them before Nyx can get its hands on em !
Yukari-san, your vital signs are fluctuating Are you in danger of dying of shame?
Anyway, we dont need that stupid system anymore! Lets ask Mitsuru-senpai to have it removed!
> Yukari and Fuuka ran off
Arf!
Youre right.
The cameras recording right now.
Hello ?
> The recording ends here
Anyway we went into Tartarus to find the missing people.
Easy as always.
Less easy was our return to the Vision Quest.
Video- Chariot and Justice
Watch
Boss Battle: Chariot and Justice
These guys work the same way they did the first time. They start merged into one big Shadow, and split into two individual ones after a bit. They mainly use physical attacks and status effects, and again the main issue is that if one is dead and the other isnt when their turn comes up the living one will cast Samarecarm, which is of course bad news. Theres not much to this refight, because these guys just dont do much thats interesting.

Watch
Boss Battle: Hermit
This guy, on the other hand, is a huge dick now. So, lets start by saying that you are allowed to stick Shinjiro into your party through the menu at this door, which Im assuming also lets you do Tartarus with him to level him up. I didnt use him because this fight is by far the hardest one weve done so far. He has a vast pool of HP and now uses a mix of Mamudoon, Maziodyne, Mind Charge, Megidoloan, and his signature Charge->Giga Spark (which he can also Mind Charge). Since he Drains Electricity, you arent allowed to Repel it. Theres just no way to do this fast, grind him down slowly and brutally with your most powerful attacks while making sure you are insulated from Electricity and Darkness. Good luck, youll need it.
Video- Fortune and Strength
Watch
Boss Battle: Fortune and Strength
These are just as annoying now as they were the first time. Strength uses powerful physical attacks and Fortune has its Wheel, just as before. The only actual threat besides losing focus during this boring long fight is getting a bad status from the Wheel, because Strength has Vile Assault and will use it to kill people who arent Aigis who get knocked down. Its not that much different than the original fight, just slightly higher numbers.
We werent feeling confident about battling the Hanged Man again just yet, so we headed for the remaining strange doors.
Video- Resistance Door
Watch
Boss Battle: Resistance Door
This is a weird dumb fight that I dont like. We have Yukari, Akihiko, and Mitsuru with us. Theres a complicated dance of knocking down one of the enemies with its weakness while managing buffs and debuffs that ensures they knock themselves over by missing and let you kill them before an effective timer wipes you and its a real pain in the ass, especially if you keep forgetting like I do that you cant evade if you defend. So yeah my only advice is never Defend in this, and go look up the precise order of turns that lets you beat them.
Video- Speed Door
Watch
Boss Battle: Speed Door
So this is the speed battle because you need to predict what the boss will do before it does it. There are three possible patterns it can use, and its first action telegraphs which sequence will occur. Again, just go look up a guide and execute the Persona switches and item uses it suggests because there is no other way to defeat this boss.
Video- Luck Door
Watch
Boss Battle: Luck Door
This boss is immune to all but one of Light and Dark. There are two ways to find out which. The first is to try one, which will either kill him or cause you to lose. The second is to defend for several turns, at which point he will use an attack called either 1 or 2. If he says 1, use Mudo. Otherwise, use Hama. Unless its the opposite, but Im pretty sure thats right. Anyway thats where Im stopping for this, because Hanged Man is going to be really hard and I want to level up more before I do that and the other bonuses.
Were going to hold off on the last door, I want to train a bit more first.
