The first item we need today is a Crooked Cross, from these Shadows on the first floors of the Bathhouse.





I'm happy to report that the Inaba Trout make wet fishy slapping sounds instead of the usual heavy ringing slash noises.


That went well!

There are two more items to find in this dungeon, but they're way up on the last floors. These beetles carry Great Horns.



I'm glad I went with this one, because now I can say there's one other awesome Hanged Man Persona: motherfuckin' HELL BIKER.

If you've been powering through all the bonus bosses in one go, the Momentary Child will be a nice, easy cooldown after those complete bastards in the Castle and Bathhouse.



He has a decent mix of physicals & buffs...





...but will also waste some of his turns, like the tutorial bosses.





He's weak to ice as well, which means Teddie can shred him. It's pretty grizzly.

...which earns a solid new weapon for Teddie.





Now instead of Yosuke, Teddie, and Rise lagging behind, I've got absolutely everybody lagging behind Sanzo and Kanji. Progress!

















Most of Rise's best skills come from her Social Link rather than leveling, but there's a nice one today: Relaxing Wave, which restores 5% of the team's SP after every battle. Since most regular fights can be resolved in one or two rounds, I won't need the fox much anymore.





If anyone was wondering about my shameful neglect of Nanako: there are a few points where Justice needs a ton of extra time to advance, and I'm counting on garden work and summer events to make up the difference. Trying to push it means a lot of wasted evenings.
