Part 49: Episode 3, Day 2, Trial: Winded Bag
Part 49: Episode 3, Day 2, Trial: Winded Bag

It's a bit indirect, but we actually heard this argument in each of the last two updates.

You can actually present the photo as well, and get the same scene.
quote:
In fact, there's one more piece of evidence we can use - the cardkey also works! This one is a direct contradiction, and in my opinion the recommended option for this scene - we needed the cardkey to enter Studio One, so how would a random fanboy have gotten in there?
The scene of the murder, as we all know, was Studio One.
However, you need a cardkey to enter Studio One!

How could a boy with no formal relation to the studios have a cardkey!?
quote:
There are also a few wrong answers here, of course. Our attorney's badge, and any other evidence we have, each produce a generic retry loop:
This is my proof!
...
I can't see how that has anything to do with this matter...
Mr. Wright.
There aren't that many pieces of evidence in the Court Record.
Please try not to pick the wrong ones!

S-sorry, Your Honor.
Sound: Whoops
I'll ask again, Mr. Wright.
I feel like the judge is directly scolding the player on that one. You had a 50% chance! How could you screw this one up!

No, keep hammering on that name pun, it's still great.

This part of this episode is so cathartic compared to the last episode.

I guess we'll have another day of investigation now? We haven't really learned anything new, so I'm not sure where to go from here.

Psych! Did you really think we were done already?

Have you ever really stopped talking?

Now who could have told her not to talk about something? It doesn't seem like Edgeworth - he's been in the dark the whole time here. Are we finally going to get another player in this mess?

Not the most complete testimony; looks like another one where we'll just have to press to get the specific information we need.

Who knew the old windbag could actually keep a secret? At least until personally threatened, anyway.

Poor Edgeworth is having a rough day.

I'm disappointed in our client, too. He never mentioned anyone else being there. Neither did the assistant, Penny Nichols.

Not how I expected Studio Two to first show up, but it was too big a hole to stay uncovered for long.

Dammit, Phoenix, keep up!

Sound: Light Bulb

Yeah, from wind damage or some such nonsense.

We have all the information we need, now, but we're given the option to continue anyway. Might as well keep going!

Sound: Desk Slam

Was it the people or the money that was more convincing?

We're given another prompt to move on, but there are still a couple questions to poke at here!

Wow, Edgeworth has really had it with Oldbag.

The rest of this press plays out the same as the second one above, complete with another prompt to abandon our cross. We're at the end of the testimony, but we'll continue one more time, because once we run out of testimony, we go confer with Maya again.

Anyway, from here we need to go back and re-press on one of the earlier statements and go through all the dialogue until we get the option to stop again (any of the three will do). From there, we can finally move on:

Well, we survived to face another day.

Sniff?

Next trial? I'll assume he really meant, next day of trial?

Any early bets? Director, producer, or bigwig?

This first phase of the episode is kind of weird. It seems almost like filler, just drawing it out until we get to talk to the rest of the suspects. But the Oldbag-Edgeworth interactions were worth it anyway.
Music: Jingle - It Can't End Here

Next time we'll start our second day of investigation!
