The tournament at the Houzouin begins, and we meet friends both old and new.


Some historical notes:

As usual, mostly covered in the video. I found a few modern martial arts schools and temples calling themselves "Houzouin" but saw no evidence to connect any particular one of them to In'ei and his style directly. Musashi's connection to the school may well be something Yoshikawa made up for his novel.
