Part 110: Sidetracked

We don't actually have to walk all the way back to Roger. The game automatically takes you back.

So, everyone starts walking back to the ship, but they're interrupted.




Huh? Not again!
What is it?


Yuri staggers forward without answering.




And down he goes. You know, at least Koudelka only gave him a pounding headache when she invaded his mind.



Yo!
This way!

She goes through the door.



Several doors later...




What is it? Where are we going?
I hear something in there. What could it be...?




Jeanne trots through it.



Jeanne!!


And, of course, the door closes again before Yuri can go through.




We can't follow her, so the only thing to do is go back and leave the Graveyard.


I'd say that Yuri must not have been out for very long since everyone's just standing there looking at him, but after what happened the last time he passed out, I know they've probably left him laying on the ground for at least an hour.

*sigh* Where'd she go...?


I love how everyone except Roger completely ignores Yuri talking to himself by now.


I also love how Veneficium is level 10 now.






We can go to Roger's house now and advance the story, but first we're going to check out the chapel since we were booted out right after the boss fight last time.


We find something behind the statue.

Really?! Lemme see, lemme see!



Huh?! What was that voice? I've got a bad feeling about this...


Everything starts shaking again.


Looks like another boss fight.


We have to defeat Guardian to get Karin's final opera.


It's a tough fight if you come right back after clearing the dungeon. Henger Guardian is fast and gets first turn, he's got a huge amount of health, and he can one-shot anyone that doesn't have Shield up.


He also has Meteor Storm, which is like Meteor, only more so.


The whole fight just becomes a pattern of buffing, chipping away at his health and healing.


Yeah, this would have been a lot easier if I'd cleared a couple more dungeons before I came back.


Oh well, I won anyway.

Karin has now learned all her Sword Arts.


We also grab Gusion Crest (Holy Edge, Dark Edge, Gathering) on the way out.
