Part 134: The Gift

We've completed all of Yuri and Karin's sidequests, gotten all of Yuri and Kurando's Fusions and raised all the Fusions to level 10. So now it's time to go back to the Graveyard.

...and suddenly, Yuri doesn't seem to be feeling so hot.




His life starts to quite literally flash before his eyes.

Yuri drops to his knees.

Ugh...! ...My memories! They're being...sucked away...!

...It's the same one. I saw that sunset with my dad.

So, just like the first game, Ben fuses into Seraphic Radiance, although it's had a name change to Dark Seraphim.




And just like the first game, Seraphim has a spell that damages you and heals her.


She can also do this, which would've helped her out a lot more if she hadn't waited until she was almost dead to cast it.


This fight is way easier than it was in the first game.


We get some really nice rewards for this fight, including a Thor's Belt.




Yuri is gasping for breath, and Ben is standing there chill as fuck. So much for not holding back.

I'm impressed.

And Yuri has all of his Fusions back! Let's take a look, shall we?


Oh. Oh my...


So, these are Dark Seraphim's Level 1 stats. He also has just one spell, For Everyone... (the one that raises everyones stats).


We have more than enough souls to fully level up, so I do.


We've already seen the first two skills, and we'll see the third one soon. Like Melt Crest, For the Child... hits every enemy on the field and is obscenely expensive in terms of Mana cost.


And that's it for the end-game quests! I suppose we've let Kato cool his heels long enough.
