Before traversing the Cursed Zone, certain preparations have to be taken. And even with those, it is a dangerous, horrible trip that will result in pain and Death.


Why is Arahabaki replaced with the Pixie?
Easy to answer. THIS.
This spell, WITHOUT it, this section would be incredibly painful. The enemies there can stop you easily, and then ONE SHOT you. That's not pleasant.



Then, this spell, the reason why Pisaca was acquired. That, and backup Tirafuri if I run out of MP with the Pixie and don't have Chakras.


Ah, almost full, if not full HP. Delicious.



... Two steps later...


What the fucking fuck. No. No.
Every two steps lowers your HP. Or halves it. Once it reaches 1 HP you don't suffer more damage. So, with Estoma, one can safely travel for a while. But when the detector gets red... Crazy healing every two steps, because if one has less than full HP and the enemies hit the main character first, INSTANT DEATH is likely.
And oh how fucked up the enemies in this area are.

Hades Blast is like a very, very strong version of Berserk that gets critical hits almost all the time.
Mara also likes to use it.
Also: When not attacking, or being attacked, Abbadon looks like some sort of slug or slime with wings. Hurr.




This god damned creepy furry is incredibly dangerous as well. Not easy. NOT EASY.


That's bad news in this dungeon.



Notice the TRICK DOORS that try to trick you into going backwards. I fell for it once. Not this time, though. Not a single of the four times I had to traverse this place today. Nevermore.
Yes, had to play through this part four times. The game likes giving the Demons the first turn.
