The 16-32 bit incarnations of the "Shining" series have always been among my favorite games. The series itself spans several different RPG sub-genres, but I'll be focusing on the strategy games, starting with the original, and hopefully covering its sequel and Shining Force CD.

Normally, there'd be the option to manage save files here, but since I don't yet have one, the only option is to create a new game and to choose which of the three save slots to use for it. I'll spare you the details.
