-Major characters-

- Ryo Ishikawa

The acting head of Shogo Industries' Cronus division, son of Shogo Industries' president, Shinobu. He offers to assist Sanjuro, with making his way into the prison complex of the C.M.C. But his help comes at a price - he wants a favor in return. While we don't have much information about him at this point, he seems rather shady.

- Gabriel

It appears that this mysterious figure is actually Toshiro, the brother of Sanjuro. But we have no idea why this would be the case or what happened to him since his supposed death.

- Cothenial

Another mysterious name. According to Hank, he is the reason why the Fallen exist and that Kura can explain it. She indeed mentioned the name before being captured, but that is all we know for sure at this point.

-Factions-

Stragglers

Stragglers are Kato miners affected from exposure to the element and thus have a damaged mental state and deranged personalities. Sanjuro encounters them in a pumping station located near the Maritropa slums, where they have captured a woman's cat and plan to eat it.

-Human weapons-

Energy grenade launcher

A grenade launcher that shoots a blue energy ball that detonates on contact with opponents or walls, and provides a large amount of splash damage. It was originally intended to be the alternate firing mode for the assault rifle. But the idea was dropped along the way as the developers couldn't find a good way to include both grenade types as sub-functions of the rifle.

-Important elements-

The Mecca

A nightclub in the slums of Maritropa where Sanjuro and Kura had agreed to met. In the end Sanjuro reaches it to late as Kura had been captured by the C.M.C.
