Part 11: Scenario Two: Emilie
Silent Hill Mobile 3 Scenario two: EmilieWho... Who is there?
You have to save him...
What is happening to me?
He is about to die.
I... I don't understand... Hum? What is that noise?
Welcome back to Silent Hill Mobile 3. Last time we left off with Something Bad happening to Vincent. Now we're in control of a new character, Emilie. We start off with just the map, and the weapons from last time, meaning the crowbar and the Beretta pistol. We also start out in the kitchen, but for once we also start out in the Otherworld. Anything around us worth noting?
A rusty disgusting fridge... I don't even want to touch it.
Those plates are still hot...
Didn't think so. Well, I guess there's no time like the present to step out and start exploring...
Ack! What is that?! This is our new monster encounter. These creatures are kind of nasty, but they're slow enough that our bullets can cut them down without much damage. During the fight, the screen will black out for a second and light back up. When it does, the monster will be in a different spot. It can climb the walls, so watch out. It's real easy to have your crosshairs nowhere near where it pops up next, which is its biggest strength, as it's actually quite slow, making it hard to get hits in on you if you're lucky. As you would expect, it takes a few more shots than the zombie types do.
You did pretty well...
Who are you?
You have to kill the others...
There are more of those things??
Yes. Four of them are still roaming in that Mansion. If you want to get back in your own world you will have to kill them all.
Are you kidding? Hey! Where are you?
That's right boys and girls, you read that right. Suddenly we're on a monster hunt! I've got good news and bad news: The bad news is they're spread all throughout the mansion to hunt down. The good news is that all the rooms we've been in with Vincent either have nothing new to offer, or are locked, with a few exceptions. Like for example, Emilie notes that the clocks are beautiful looking instead of being frozen in time. So we have a lot less rooms to explore! :confoot:
Paintings in blood...I don't understand what they're supposed to represent.
I promise, there isn't much flavor text to go over this round. However, as a surprise, the toilet rooms are now all unlocked! Going in order, we first stop at the one on the second floor.
Nothing in the toilet...but it stinks...that is horrible.
This sink is filled with blood...
Blood, and bullets. We get another 10 just from fishing around in there. Good thing too, because when we leave the bathroom,
We end up fighting another zombie. 2 down, 3 to go. And also, by the by, the other bathrooms are now open too!
...but they look just like the second one on the 1st floor.
What is this doing here? A cocoon?!
Yeah, I don't know either. If we don't end up fighting a giant spider at the end, I'm going to be mighty disappointed. Anyways, the doors up here continue the trend of either providing no new information, or just being plain locked. The one exception to this is the portal in the end bedroom is now missing pieces again. Upstairs, the toilet and bathroom look identical to the ones on this floor. Again, the blood-filled sink has bullets in it. If you check the cocoon on the third floor meanwhile, you get shotgun shells. This game, in true Silent Hill tradtion, really spoils the surprise of new weapons by often giving you ammo before the weapon in question. And when we leave that bathroom,
We get a new visitor. Wish we had that shotgun already. Oh well, at least we got ammo from the toilet room. 3 down, 2 to go. At this point, the attic and the bedroom that's up here are both locked, so down the elevator we go to the other half of floor one. Once again, the toilet looks identical, only this time there's a health pack in the sink. There's nothing in the bathroom meanwhile, but when you leave,
You get attacked by a zombie in the same place one was hiding as Vincent. That leaves just one more to find. Again, the bedrooms yield nothing new whatsoever, leaving just one last room.
There's no new dialogue here, but if you examine the larger cocoon, you finally get your shotgun. Now if only there was something we could test it on...
Perfect! That's right, when you leave the meat locker, our final zombie shows up. The shotgun, as you would expect, takes less shots to kill the monsters than the pistol. This is good, because the shells are more scarce.
You did it... Now get back to your own world.
And just like that, the portal upstairs is now repaired and we can go through it at our leisure.
Help us to end this hell...
Hum... Well... it seems that I succeeded in entering the real world.
You will need something to save him...
Hum?... Oh, you're talking about the man I am supposed to save...
We need this object to cure him of this evil...
An object? No medicine?
This is a powerful relic...
A relic? Is that a joke? Is he possessed or what?
You could say that...
...Hum... Ok... So where can I find this relic?
In a room in that mansion, in a piece of furniture, but I don't remember which...
I've got the feeling that you know a lot about this house... Hey! Where did you go?!?
Just when you thought we were done, we have another fetch quest. Somewhere in this Mansion now that we're in the regular world is some relic we need to save a man. So now we have to search each piece of furniture we come across. Oh boy. Well it's not in here, so let's go to the next bedroom and start the search.
A beautiful wardrobe...I wonder if there is something inside.
Searching yields the Holy Knife. Oh. That was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. They just put it right next to us. Oh, and in case you were wondering, because you're some kind of weirdo, no there's nothing in the Regular world toilet rooms. Here's what they look like because I just know you're dying to find out:
But anyways, now that we've found our powerful relic, we need to go find our man. Can you think of where a man who is hurt and in need of help might be here in the regular room? That's right, we're talking about Vincent in the dining room. And some of you thought he was killed off at the end of last update. Well the death count didn't go up, did it?
You did it.
Urgh...
Who, who is he?
This is the man you have to save.
What the...?!... Ho...how?
By killing yourself with the holy knife.
WHAT?
The monsters you've killed, they've been created by Karen, my sister. But she created those from the spirit of the children she murdered 40 years ago.
...
By killing them, you take back those spirits into yourself. You have to free them and as a consequence give their strength to this man.
No, No I refuse!
You have no choice!!
I DON'T CARE!
LISTEN TO ME! You are trapped into this hell. If you want it to stop you have to do exactly what I said.
...
This is the only solution, you can't runaway. [sic]
Why me?
This is your destiny... Do it! We don't have so much time, if you don't want other people take part of this hell, DO IT! [sic]
...I ...I...
DO IT!!
...all right...
Dammit game, stop trying to get us to kill ourselves! But...we really don't have a choice this time do we? The only thing we can do to progress at this point is use the knife in our inventory....
DEATH COUNT: 17
END OF SCENARIO
