A doll that has seen better days is enshrined in the center of an altar surrounded by seemingly random objects, such as a triangular street sign, producing a very disturbing effect.

I had to call in outside help from a native speaker for this one. She says it appears to be short versions of a half-dozen idioms, but she was only able to identify three of them:

2. No matter how many times you fall down, get back up again.

3. You are what you eat.

4. What goes around comes around.

6. ???



This is a giant shogi piece. For some reason it is mirrored in reverse. The piece in question is the "knight" or, more literally, "horse". This same artifact can be spotted multiple times throughout the game.
