Introduction

Let's Play Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic



Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is a role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by LucasArts. It uses a version of the D&D combat system, specifically the one developed for the Star Wars D20 game. The combat is real-time, but turn based and you are able to pause to assess the situation and give orders. It's widely regarded as one of the better Star Wars games to date, notably for it's epic story, high amount of dialogue choices, and ability to choose the path of your Jedi - Light Side or Dark Side.

FAQ

What version of the game are you playing?
I'm playing it on PC, purchased via Steam for $9.95.

I am also currently using the following mods:
Invisible Headgear Mod - This makes the cutscenes a lot more watchable without the annoying headgear getting in the way.

Hey, what's with the talking over the dialogue? Especially the alien dialogue!
Well, some lines just deserve a certain reaction. There's subtitles on screen, so you won't miss much if I throw in a quick comment here or there.

Are you going Light Side or Dark Side?
That's up to YOU! I will try to end each video before we get to a "big decision" and I will lay out the various options. You then get to vote and most votes wins! As for the smaller, less meaningful decisions, I will try to show off the more entertaining option or the one that I find most interesting (I promise not to always pick Dark Side options)
