Part 4: Operation Torskblast: Turns 5-6
Operation Torskblast: Turns 5-6As our armoured forces move back and our infantry moves ahead, our force now begins to resemble a single fighting unit.
Except of course, for the one tank that is infiltrating Norweigan lines by itself. The Strv 121 seems to be undetected so far, or at least hasn't been detected by anything that can attack it.
At the end of turn 6, our infantry have almost hit the ridge. Pretty soon, we're going to need tactics more complicated than 'advance'.
Also, the Norweigans have launched their first attack. A large group of 81mm high-explosive rounds crashes into the ground about 400 meters behind our tank. It's puzzling because a standard mortar can't hurt a tank, but it's the only nearby unit to the barrage.
So to recap, the pre-battle movement is starting to solidify, and everyone has either:
A) Moved up to a defensive overwatch position or
B) Charged irresponsibly deep into enemy territory.
What happens next?
