Part 120: Operation Mange Poutine: Opposition Turn 6
Operation Mange Poutine: Opposition Turn 6Well, the others are finally done with their turn. They told Urc that it was horrible for us or something, but I really don't see that.
First, the Americans make their debut, vis a vis the unluckiest goddamn sniper the world has ever seen.
He took about a dozen shots giving him between 30 and 50% accuracy, and he only landed one hit, which killed one crew member of the RR Jeep.
Then a few HJ-9 ATGMs unsuccessfully hit one of my Leopard C3s. Though they would have a chance at penetrating the front hull at a decent angle, such a thing never occurs.
In fact, the only casualties this turn are another Leopard 1, and a Leonidas II which had thankfully been emptied the turn prior.
There were no artillery or airstrikes supporting this ground advance.
However, there's no time to get cocky yet. The enemy has advanced quite a bit recently, most notably to the north where a bunch of Chinese IFVs have shown up. It doesn't matter how much of their troops are lost if they control the map.
