Part 54: November Cod Crisis: Canada Turn 1
November Cod Crisis: Canada Turn 1I move the northernmost lander, and it takes some pretty accurate fire. It then occurs to me that it was the last one I attempted to move.
You see, attacking the same target multiple times makes a unit's shots more accurate (generally). This means that you can offset the accuracy of enemy overwatch by alternating actions between several units. Enemies that fire on you will be constantly switching targets, which means they won't get an accurate shot unless they are at point blank range, or have really good fire control.
As you can see, the only shore defenses that we've encountered are four Panzer III turrets. I must say I expected a bit more frontal defense (this is both comforting and worrying at the same time).
There are only a few negligible AA defenses. I'm beginning to wonder what the hell Sam. did do with his points.
One of our para sections gets shredded after it lands in the middle of the road, but other than that, the landing force is quite unscathed.
So far I think we're doing well, but the match with Urcinius taught me to be paranoid about the opponent's turn. In any case, I will be posting some basic information about the enemy units we've encountered at some point this evening.
Edit: How did that screencap get there?
