Part 55: November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 1
November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 1Our paratroopers take sporadic fire, and we lose a section, but a Bofors 40mm Autocannon is taken out from the return fire. Most of the enemy attacks are inaccurate, even with repeat shots. Taking out AA Guns will help our Transport Aircraft, but it isn't like they needed a lot of help to begin with.
Our Paratroopers to the west can expect retaliatory fire, but the ones to the east seem safe enough.
On the naval front, some fire is exchanged to little effect on both sides. Both forces' weapons are innacurate, and both forces are nearly impervious to the other sides' weapons.
Here are the paratroopers that have survived the initial rush (which is a huge majority of them).
Right now we should consider what their objective is, and how they should move to meet it.
It is possible that the Norwegians took the Panzer III Turrets as part of a Naval Fortress. If so, that is a huge portion of their forces accounted for. Other than that, Panzer III Turrets can be taken in groups of three individual Turret Bunkers.
The enemy also has multiple Centurion MkV/II's and multiple Bofors 40mm Autocannons. I'm surprised they took such expensive tanks, as they don't need the extra firepower and they are still vulnerable to our Carl Gustavs. Those two tanks alone account for about 20% of Sams points.
For now, we should focus on what to do with our paratroopers as our heavy infantry storm the beach. Suggestions?
