November Cod Crisis: Canadian Turn 6

We made a few gains this turn, but nothing terribly exciting.




Our sniper suppresses the enemy infantry section enough for our own para section to spring out of cover and ambush them. For some reason, a single paratrooper gets accidentally shot in the melee (how could that possibly happen in any realistic context?).




We do take another casualty from an infantry unit that fires a submachinegun round out of cover and - Holy crap, it's the enemy HQ!

I guess they were just surrounded for the whole match so there wasn't really anything Sam. could do except hide them in cover. Also, if the enemy HQ retreats from here, they well be immediately at the mercy of flanking elements from the western force, so this is very lucky.




Some fire from the PT boats pins the MG teams to the west, meaning the force can creep up further without too much trouble.

Also, our scouts are moving up ever further. Next turn it will probably be possible to remove an MG team or two. Regardless, the key threat is still the Centurion.





All three of our infantry elements have advanced a fair bit this turn. One thing I've been noticing is just how thin the enemy lines are. Now that we've already started to outflank the enemy in a few places. A breakthrough should be quite possible, after which we can focus on the rest of Sam's forces to the south.
