Part 68: November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 8
November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 8Well last turn, we managed to remove basically every enemy within line of sight of our troops so I can't imagine anything terribly exciting happening this...
...turn. How the hell did that happen?
Ah, it emerged from cover and forced one of our Para Sections to retreat, but took a Carl Gustav round to the side armour during the struggle.
This is incredible luck. I thought the Centurion would stay put and try to take out a few Sections while it was forcibly uprooted, or at the very least would retreat to a more defensible location. Our biggest problem kind of solved itself.
Sam. has really had to cut down on his bombardment attacks this turn. The only one launched was by a Panzer III turret to the far northeast. I don't think any of our hexes were hit by it.
However, our Scout Team in between the western and eastern forces was pushed back by the infantry to the north.
Right now the northern infantry are the only targets I can think of.
Here's a question though. Now that all of our major targets and most of our minor targets have been eliminated, where should our own forces consolidate themselves?
Also, should we fight the remainder of the battle offensively, or defensively?
Finally, is it even worth it to attack that anti-aircraft gun?
