Part 72: November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 10
November Cod Crisis: Scandanavian Turn 10First the good news: A lot of the Danish infantry units have been moving out of cover and getting ambushed. I guess Sam. figured that it was better do to something than to do nothing, and to his credit that is probably true.
Regardless, a bunch of them got shot in the face.
Now for the bad news. Our steaming load of Hot Carl did not reach the proper destination, and one of our Platoon Command Sections got hurted.
In retrospect, it would have been wiser to position the infantry so that the Centurion got in range of all of them at the same time. So this one's on me.
To the East, we have four enemy units in sight, and they are all pinned and within range of Canadian para infantry. We can probably finish up in that region in a matter of one or two turns.
However, in what is perhaps the most unlikely stroke of luck to happen to us in this LP so far, The Centurion has unwittingly parked itself within 100 meters of another Paratrooper Section.
Our load of Hot Carl has failed us, but we now have a point blank shot on the side armour from an Energa Grenade which, apparently, is one of these.
