Part 91: Operation Chocolate Spain: Moroccan Turn 4
Hm, a shocking amount of response. And I agree with your bloodlust; the machine spirits of his vehicles must be purged.Operation Chocolate Spain: Moroccan Turn 4
The spirit of his northern Patton must already be crushed. Our mobile Greyhound is running circles around it (literally at this point) and shooting it in the rear armor). It is now routed, meaning it has almost no control whatsoever, and cannot defend itself.
The few vehicles that have managed to penetrate the center are quickly buttoned and overwhelmed. At this point we are winning by so much that our cavalry scouts are being used as shock troops. Their grenades are crude but efficient weapons for this purpose.
A second M47 Patton has been eliminated by AMX-13 fire, but the one to the south will still be a bit tricky to kill because it is hiding under the fire arc of all but one of the French Tank Destroyers. It doesn't pose any sort of substantial threat where it is, but it just doesn't feel right unless it dies.
I would imagine we can ask for surrender in one more turn, if it takes that long. Also, we've probably destroyed half of his unit-points so far. I think this turn marked the last of his Halftracks, Greyhounds and Trucks.
