Part 96: Operation Mange Poutine: Coalition Deployment: Phase 1

Oh god, that literally took hours to do. Fortunately, revisions won't take nearly as long.

Coalition Deployment: Phase 1

Here is our northern force. It consists of the Turkish Air-mobile/Helicopter Gunship force, as well as two forces of Turkish Cavalry to the north and south.

In addition, there is a significant force of Canadian Cavalry and Armour in second line reserve ready to strike as soon as contact with the enemy is made.

I took the liberty of spreading the Greek FO units throughout the entire coalition force.

The Greek force is located to the center-south of the map, meaning it has the capacity to operate on its own, but also to swing upwards to intercept enemies from the side once the northern force becomes engaged. The Greek force has a very high Tank density, but those tanks are Leopard 1A5s rather than Yatagans or Leopard 2A6s.

The Canadian Reserve Company is spread throughout the south, prepared to at least slow down the enemy if they come through this region. They will have ADATS support that will help to slow down any potential rush against the region.

The on-map artillery pieces are hidden behind mountains to prevent their getting hit by an early barrage or rush by enemy jet aircraft.

My last questions is, how many of our guns should be used to fire early on, and where? I have a feeling it would be wisest to use our on-map guns to facilitate a decent counterbattery fight. We would probably also do best if we fired on the roads leading up to the enemy frontline.

Obviously we should lead in with a SEAD strike, but how many of them should engage? Also, should the CF-18 Anti-Tank elements follow up?

And of course, is there anything you've seen of deployment that should be altered?
