Chapter 3 - Let's get some 'flour'
Let's get this over with and head to the item store and get the damned 'flour.'
A peaceful mountain village
"Right. Me Kobold warrior, Gengen! Now Captain Gengen!!"
"What can I do for you today? Huh? What? Oh, flour as usual. Just a minute. Here you go, I'll put it on your bill as always." "Okay. We go back now, Riou, Tuta."
"I want to look around some more. Okay, Riou, Captain Gengen?"
Blacksmiths haven't really changed much, although you can now Embed certain runes into your weapon for various effects. I'll get to that when we actually get Runes. For now, we just head back to the fort with nothing else to do here.
"See you, Riou!!" "I have to go soon too. Goodbye, Riou! It was fun!!"
"Okay, I'm gonna eat now." 
"Wipe it with a rag like this... I'll come take a look later. I want it sparkling clean." 
I like how they actually give his sprite a little rag. It's the little things. Once you finish this...
"Wow, the floor looks great. You've got talent."
First Choice
"Ha! I like you, You have spirit." Second Choice
"Ha ha ha. That was a good one. You're a funny kid. I like you."
During the night...
I forgot to screencap it, but Riou has two choices here. The First Choice simply calls Jowy to the cell, the second is silence and you get the next dialouge options, along with the sounds of battle.
"Are you here, Riou? If you can't call out, make some noise." "He... he couldn't be... No! It can't be! Riou! Where are you?!" 
We don't get very far, though.
First choice
Ouch!
Second Choice
"Jowy... Jowy Atreides." 
"Jowy. Okay. Since you came to rescue Riou, can I assume you're a Highlander?" "That's right." 
"I see... You're the other one... the one we lost in the river." "Riou said something about a 'surprise attack by the State,' but the State Army hasn't moved since the peace treaty was signed. So what the hell happened?" I managed to miss the screencap for this too. The choices are as follows: 'I can't say.'
"So that's how it is, huh? Well, you two can get reacquainted tonight. You'll both be staying in the same prison cell." 'Well, the truth is...'
"Uh oh. This doesn't sound good. Luca Blight... I've heard of him, but... Anyway, what were you planning on doing after you rescued Riou?" "After I rescued Riou, I was planning to go back to Kyaro Town with him." "So are you still planning on trying to escape?" "Yes." "Hmph. Well, you can just stay put in the cell for a while. We'll give you food and a place to sleep."
"I'd been found by a little girl who brought me back to her home where they mended my wounds. I heard a rumor that a young man was being held prisoner here and so I came to save you... Sorry." 
"Riou, I don't blame you for trying to escape, but please don't do it again. The boss will let you out of here soon enough." "Excuse me? Could I please have a spoon?" "A spoon? For your soup? Aren't we the fine nobleman. Wait a minute, I'll get you one." 
Possibly the best line ever? You decide.
Are you going to eat that carrot?
"Riou, let me see what you're holding." 
Both choices lead to the same result.
"They won't espect us to make a run for it so soon. Flint, oily rage, rope... Excellent. This will do just fine. But first we have to get out of here." 
"All right, it's open. They won't catch us this time." Escape
"Give me that rag and that flint. I'll just light this..."
"Okay! Let's go, Riou!" 
"Okay... good. I'll go first." 
"When I think about Captain Rowd and that man he was talking to... it might be dangerous in Kyaro. But I still want to go back. Your sister Nanami is waiting for you there too. She's... probably worried about you." 
First Choice
"Yeah. That's where we grew up. We can't forget it so easily." Second Choice
"But..." Some soldiers come up and the two of you run away, basically the same result.
I'm getting this feeling of Deja Vu for some reason...
