Part 27: Spellbound! pt 2
You guys know how flashcards work, right?
Because... This third game is about flash cards. And using them.
It kind of blows, but it's also the easiest game and you do need to get about 3-4 games worth of points to get to the final rounds, so I farm it a lot.
If we're going where I think we're going, I'm about to become the coolest kid in school!
I leave this puzzle as an excercise to the reader. I had a really bad theory textbook that would leave very complicated, but very neccessary problems as an excercise to the reader, and I spent every day chanting the name of the author in a kind of 30-second hate ritual that would end up with me getting a B+ in the class. I have no idea how I swung that.
Oh HELL yes we're going to the auditorium! I'm gonna be up there on stage, and everyone will have to look at me and they'll think "Man, what a cool kid! He's obviously smart enough to be in a schoolwide contest, but rebellious enough that he refuses to take off his cap! And he has a small radio in his hand through which he is obviously cheating! [If I was a girl / I am a girl so] I would like to say hello to him and smile prettily!
Each robot has his own theme song. Turbo's is this cool percussion jungle beat.
Yeah, that's right. Hail to the chief!
What a curious robot! I think I saw him at the Mathlete's Convention! He seemed very befuddled by very simple questions, I wonder what his deal was?
Not how you spell "lungs"! Guess he's not a better speller than he is a Mathlete.
I... I think the people in my school aren't very smart
I guess that makes me the one-eyed king, huh.
Next we're going... To a wedding? A concert? The park?
Oh, citywide! That's... cool. We're the only school in the district, though, so whatever.
Which is why that weird guy was back I guess. I sometimes wondered if I was one of the five people who signed up for this damn thing.
I was in a spelling bee in elementary school once.
My first word was "honor".
I spelt it with an "e".*
I'm just saying, I know how those robots feel.
*I spell it with the H I stole from heritage
And Im sleeping now (Wow!) And the settlers laugh
You wont be laughing when your covered wagons crash
You wont be laughing when the buses drag your brothers flags into rags
You wont be laughing when your front lawn is spangled with epitaphs
You wont be laughing
And I hang my boots to rest when Im impressed
So I triple knot them then I forgot them
This origami dream is beautiful
but man those wings will never leave the ground
Without a feather and a lottery ticket, now settle down
