Survives in Losers Bracket - Sydin___
Eliminated from Tournament - Revenant
A powerful example of mind over matter and another reinforcement for how important keeping your opponent off guard can be! Revenant had a poor matchup in the first battle which Sydin mercilessly exploited and Revenant just seemed to have a difficult time recovering. Regardless of if it was stress, fear or just being flustered, Sydin gave Revenant no chance to find their feet, making it look far more one sided then it was. Revenant is no slouch in Shogun 2, as evidenced by their solid play in earlier in the tournament, yet Sydin was as precise as they were merciless, hitting every weak point and exploiting every error, demonstrating why this tournament is far from wrapped up!
ScotchDK will no doubt be worried by the sheer ferocity shown in these matches, as we enter our first Finals Round!
