Part 39: - Mission X-6

39 - Mission X-6

"... the ability to kill humans. Such simple, perfect beings."

I'm no botanist, but I doubt plants at the dawn of time really gave a shit about humans yet. And being technical, most plants are still toxic to humans. Apples, oak, poison ivy, peaches, cherries, almonds, nutmeg, kidney beans, azeleas, rhubarb, tomatoes, asparagus, mango and so on, these common plants or their fruits have toxins fatal to humans at varying doses. But like Paracelsus said, nothing is not poison. All plants have their own evolutionary adaptations and poison is one of the most common.

"Do you understand the meaning of such toxic organisms? They demonstrate that all creation seeks an end to mankind."

...Yeah, I don't think you need to be a botanist to see the holes in his logic.

This mission is a walk in the park compared to the Second Opinion version, which caps vitals at 50, does about 40 damage per slice, and must be completed in 3:15. Unlike Second Opinion and like the rest of the Paraksevi missions so far, none of the worms can escape to the next organ. Still, if you come up with a plan to manage the Paraskevi, you should be fine. There's nothing about their actions that is particularly random or unpredictable.
