Part 116: Chapter 12, Part 3
Terfin: Part 2Video
We stick right at the next hallway until we reach this device. Clicking on it removes the force field protecting the door.
Inside the room is what looks like a Lightning Sword...
...but it turns into a key after a few seconds.
Now we go back to the last hallway and go to the end.
The door leads to a torture chamber.
We unlock the door in the back with the key we just collected.
The door takes us to this room.
There's a button on the side of the throne. I don't remember what the button does specifically, but we press it nonetheless.
Also in this room is a Power Cube, which we take.
Before the Gargoyles moved to the domed city of Ambrosia, they lived here. That's why most of the puzzles are based on Gargoyle technology.
At the end of the next hallway is this pit. After a couple of seconds some pikes appear in it.
We drop into the pit and head down the side passage.
At the end is a lever that reveals another hidden corridor.
The hallway leads to the laboratory area.
: Who are you? Are you one of them?
: One of who?
: The gargoyles. They said that they were devoted to the Guardian, and that they were killing every human they encounter.
: They said that they were doing the Guardian's work.
: It's alright. I'm the Avatar, and I'm here to help.
: The hero? Oh, Avatar, please help me. They did horrible things to me. Please do as I ask, please.
: I'll do anything you wish.
: Thank you.
: I want you to kill me. Please, put me out of my misery. They gave me a poison that will kill me. I'm in so much pain, I pass out.
: When I do, those gargoyle faces are there again, beating me, clawing me... Oh, please. Make it all go away, please, kill me!
: Release me from all of this pain! I want to go home...
: Alright, prepare yourself.
: Thank you.
: My, my, Avatar. Has it come to this? The mighty Avatar killing children? How far have you fallen, Avatar? How petty you are, preying on the weak.
: You should set your sights higher, Avatar. Aim for an opponent worthy of your skill, rather than little children.
