Andvari's Bequest Curses all enemies excluding leaders for three rounds. It's in a similar vein to Gleipnir's Bonds, except enemies can still move - generally a good thing as they'll still come towards you, and as long as you have Dash they won't be able to outrun you. Exceptions are against flyers on maps like the Sylvanglade. By the time you get Fauxnel, you also have Lockswell, so if you're going to sacrifice somebody, you wouldn't really miss him. On the other hand, if you've made it this far without a sacrifice, you might as well go all the way, right?

Fauxnel Voice Collection

I actually really like Fauxnel's voice acting for his Great Magic, especially that of Phantom Destruction. Though his dying scream right after Meteor Swarm is also pretty funny. Finally, like his fellow court magi, Fauxnel has an unused quote at 3:06... speculation is that he's talking to Lockswell, whose wife did cause a rebellion and led to his dismissal - it's certainly possible that she was from Fauxnel's house.

One last Japanese VA, since we don't have the English one. Fauxnel's voice is Yutaka Kouno, who seems to have done very few roles that would be familiar to a Western audience.
