I honestly missed the point where Arngrim was weighing the consequence that his actions would have on Roland. Maybe that's cause it never happened.

Ok see here's the problem. Lawfer's story ends there! How did he die? Did he really die on that mission? What mission was it anyway? I want closure !! I guess I'm just missing something in the translation .
