Part 48

![](2-Army_Group_North.jpg)
Its a mud turn, so no movement of note in the north.
![](3-1.jpg)
![](4-Army_Group_Centre.jpg)
The Russians step back in the south of 9th Armies section of the line, and we advance into the gap.
![](5-2.jpg)
4th Army moves into the gap created by the Russian pull back, but the advances are not as large as I was hoping.
![](6-3.jpg)
![](7-Army_Group_South.jpg)
9th Army also advances forwards, but only a short distance.
![](8-4.jpg)
After that the 2nd and 3rd Panzer armies, supported by 17th Army secure the advances from last week, cutting off a number of troops including a tank corps!
![](9-5.jpg)
With their reduced tank numbers, the loss of this unit could be critical to the Russians.
17th Army eliminates the Russians we surrounded last week.
![](10-6.jpg)
We get the 9th Panzer Division over the Don, giving me the opportunity to move forwards from here.
![](11-7.jpg)
We continue to expand out of the Crimea. Krasnodar is now in our sights.
![](12-8.jpg)
![](13-Soviet_Response.jpg)
No attacks, but lots of reported movements.
![](14-9.jpg)
The Tank Corps is still captured, along with three other brigades and a division.
![](15-10.jpg)
The mud has cleared once more, and we have two mechanized divisions across the Don. I run recon missions now to give people a better idea of how the Russians are deployed.
![](16-start_overview.jpg)
![](17-14.jpg)
The Russians take some heavy losses, but nowhere near as heavy as I'd like them to.
![](18-11.jpg)
There is little change in overall numbers.
![](19-12.jpg)
Even with replacements going in strong.
![](20-13.jpg)
The fuel pool recovers well in the week of good weather, and we're ready for more combat manoeuvres.
